The Covid-19 pandemic has taken a huge toll on families and businesses across the country and Brookline has been no exception.  More of our neighbors than ever before are struggling to make ends meet as we continue to face uncertainty about daily life, health, safety and child care.  Please help us be part of the solution by donating, by volunteering, and by sharing our story.

Since the pandemic began in March 2020, the Brookline Food Pantry has:
  • Served 650-700 families weekly (four times more than pre-Covid)
  • Spent $94,000 on food alone for April-June 2020 (compared to $31,000 in 2019)
  • Set up a new service to deliver food to more than 130 elderly or homebound clients each week, in addition to the 650 coming in person

As our demands increase, even a small monetary donation can be very helpful. We can purchase food at the Greater Boston Food Bank at a significantly reduced rate.
